Randy Kessler
Director of Sales & Marketing

As Director of Sales & Marketing for OnQuest, Randy Kessler holds primary responsibility for researching opportunities, client relationship management, proposal management, and the full range of OnQuest's business development and marketing activities.

Kessler joined OnQuest, Inc. at its founding in April 2002 and he is a principal of the firm. With a background in both chemical engineering and sales management, his experience prior to joining OnQuest was predominantly in direct sales roles with Los Angeles-based petroleum engineering and construction firm KTI Corporation.

During his seventeen-year career with KTI, Kessler moved through a succession of roles with increasing responsibility, from process engineering to a sales role specific to process plants and furnace engineering, then to customer account management and sales department management. At the time of his departure from KTI, Kessler was Vice President of KTI’s sales force, reporting directly to the company’s CEO.

Prior to his joining KTI in 1985, Kessler was a furnace process engineer for CF Braun, where he also served as a member of the Task Force for the Refinery Modernization and Expansion of Kuwait National Petroleum Company’s Mina Abdulla Refinery. Before that he worked for Heat Research Corporation as a furnace process engineer.

An active member of industry engineering societies, including the American Petroleum Institute, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Gas Processors Suppliers Association, the Pacific Energy Association, and the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association, Kessler was born in New York City and attended Rutgers University, receiving his B. Sc. in Chemical Engineering in 1982. In 1997, he completed the Advanced Management Program at the University of California at Berkeley.
