POSITION	STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
POSTING DATE	05/10/10
RESPONSIBILITIES	Overall project responsibility for developing engineering plans pertaining to the structural elements of oil and gas refinery heaters, working in accordance with client requirements and from specifications provided by process engineers. Help analyze, calculate, and design all such structural plans and details which will be used for construction. Analyze structural behavior, including using RISA software. Coordinate and prepare detailed structural plans, including gathering, reviewing, and presenting detailed specifications for construction and documentation for permitting.
QUALIFICATIONS	B.S. in civil engineering and 1 year’s experience required; MSCE preferred. Familiarity with RISA software. Applicants with demonstrable competency and reasonable combination of education, training, or experience welcome. Experience can be progressive.

POSITION	DESIGNER(S)
POSTING DATE	12/21/09
RESPONSIBILITIES	Create design drawings from engineer's sketches, calculations, specifications, and data sheets. Prepare layouts, general arrangements, detail drawings of petrochemical equipment, including furnaces. Prepare structural drawings such as foundation location plans, platform plans, and miscellaneous piping supports. Convert documents to PDFs; file management; archiving.
QUALIFICATIONS	Proficiency in MicroStation CADD (2D) system and drafting practices. Knowledge of structural shapes, pipes, and fittings. Minimum of five years' experience in designing structures, furnaces and/or related equipment.

POSITION	CHECKER(S)
POSTING DATE	12/21/09
RESPONSIBILITIES	Prepare layouts of petrochemical equipment from specifications and data sheets. Perform dimensional and interference checks on design drawings. Coordinate between engineers and designers and/or other professionals. Perform checks on shop fabrication drawings against design drawings. Prepare materials "take-off" lists, such as for structural steel, piping, and fittings. File management and archiving.
QUALIFICATIONS	Proficiency in MicroStation CADD (2D) system and drafting practices. Knowledge of structural shapes, pipes, and fittings. Knowledge of refractories and anchoring systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel. Minimum of ten years’ experience in design of structures, furnaces and/or related equipment. Hands-on experience in steel fabrication of construction.

POSITION	PROCESS ENGINEER(S)
POSTING DATE	12/21/09
RESPONSIBILITIES	Create material and energy balance designs for process heaters and environmental applications. Identify client technical requirements and translate into design specifications. Prepare and/or oversee development of designs, including engineering process sketches Estimate costs and develop cost/timing schedules. Develop proposals in conjunction with engineering, estimating, and outside vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS	B.S. in Chemical Engineering Familiarity with standard computer-assisted design programs (HYSIM), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a project team.
