ONQUEST ACQUIRES BORN HEATERS CANADA

Furnace and heater company specializes in burner management systems

(Los Angeles) OnQuest, Inc., a furnace technology engineering firm based in Monrovia, CA, today announced its acquisition of the assets of Born Heaters Canada U.L.C., a provider of furnaces, heaters, and burner management systems based in Calgary, Alberta.

The companies will merge operations, sharing their complementary expertise in furnace and heater technology, burner management systems, environmental applications, and revamps and retrofits for clients in the oil refining, petrochemical, and power generation industries.

"Born Canada's heater products and related engineering expertise allow OnQuest to strengthen its services to clients," said David Baker, General Manager of OnQuest, in announcing the transaction. "Born Canada has an outstanding management team and proven furnace technology engineering expertise. The company has executed successful projects throughout the world," Baker said.

"Born Canada is at the forefront of safety systems and heater technology," said RogerNewnham, who will continue as President of the Canadian operation. "In particular, we have developed proprietary burner management systems technology that allows safe and efficient start-up, operation, and shutdown of heaters at a refinery or processing plant."

A world leader in furnace and combustion technology, OnQuest, Inc.,was established in 2002 by an experienced group of furnace and process engineers.
