Ken Lamb
Manager of Engineering

Ken Lamb has over 28 years' experience in the refinery, chemical, petrochemical, and engineered polymers industries. His career includes extensive experience in all aspects of furnace and process design and project engineering as well as sales and engineering department supervision and management.

Lamb’s responsibilities have included the development of heat and material balances, process flow sheets and P&IDs, and the technical and economic analysis of alternative options. At various times his responsibilities have also included customer account management, developing project budgets and schedules, and planning and executing project-related functions. Lamb has directed and supervised design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, expediting, shop testing, field installation, and startup activities—as well as preparing detailed proposals in all company product lines.

Prior to joining OnQuest in November of 2003, Lamb spent eleven years working for Bayer MaterialScience AG, the polymer division of worldwide chemical conglomerate Bayer. Lamb held a succession of positions with increasing responsibility for the company at locations in the USA, Germany, and Singapore.

Previous to his work at Bayer, Lamb spent several years working for KTI Corporation in California. Before that, he worked at New York-based Heat Research Corporation, a unit of M.W. Kellogg (now KBR).

Lamb holds one U.S. patent and maintains affiliations with several technical societies and professional groups including the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the American Petroleum Institute. He received his B. Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering in 1978 from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
